New Features: User Blacklist & Key Release

We've added two new features to give you more control over your experience on SteamDrops.

Blacklist

You can now block users directly from their profile page. Blacklists work two-ways:

• Users you block cannot enter your giveaways
• You will no longer see their giveaways on the homepage and /giveaways
• You will not be able to view or enter their giveaways
• You can manage your blacklist from Settings → Blacklist

Limits:

• Maximum of 1,000 blocked users per account
• Limit of 5 blocks per 24 hours

These limits are in place for anti-abuse and performance reasons and will not be changed.

Key Release

If you win a giveaway and the key turns out to be invalid, the creator automatically receives a penalty. However, sometimes keys fail for reasons outside the creator's control — such as undisclosed region locks, revoked retail keys, or keys that were already redeemed before purchase.

You now have the option to release a problematic key, which removes the penalty from the creator's account.

Important: Release is entirely optional. If you believe the creator acted in bad faith, do not release the penalty.

Limits:

• Each creator can only have 2 giveaways released per 7 days (across all winners)
• Release is only available within 14 days of winning
• If a creator hits the limit, you'll see a cooldown timer with the next available slot

Release key is a complimentary feature and not the one to be used regularly.
