Key Replacement, Reroll Won Giveaways & Giveaway History

We've rolled out several improvements to make the giveaway experience better for both creators and winners.

Key Replacement

Giveaway creators can now send a replacement key if a winner reports their key as broken.

How it works:

• Winner reveals their key and marks it as "Not Working" through the normal feedback flow
• The giveaway creator sees the invalid key flagged in the Winners section on the giveaway details page
• Creator clicks "Replace Key", enters a new valid Steam key, and submits
• Winner receives a notification linking directly to their replacement key on the Gifts page
• Winner then reveals the replacement key and provides feedback just like the original

Good to know:

• Creators have a 7-day window from the moment a key is reported to send a replacement
• Each key can be replaced once — if the replacement is also reported broken, the issue should be handled through Support
• Replacement keys go through the same reveal and forced feedback flow as original keys
• The creator's failed giveaway penalty is removed when a replacement is sent (and returns if replaced key is returned to invalid state)

Winner Reroll (For Winners)

Won a game you already own or simply don't want? You can now voluntarily reroll your win to give someone else a chance.

How it works:

• On your Gifts page, unclaimed keys now show a "Reroll" button next to "Reveal Key"
• Click it, confirm the action, and your win is given up permanently
• A new winner is randomly selected from the remaining participants
• The new winner is notified just like the original draw

Important: This action cannot be undone — once you reroll, the key is gone. Only use this if you're sure you don't want the game.

Giveaway History

You can now view your complete giveaway creation history from https://steamdrops.net/history. This gives you full transparency into every giveaway you've created, your contributor progress, and how your keys performed.

What you'll see:

• Contributor Value — your total dollar value of keys given away, with a running total per giveaway
• Level Progress — your current level, progress bar toward the next level, and the exact contribution thresholds
• Quick Stats — at-a-glance counts for total, completed, active, cancelled, and deleted giveaways
• Full Giveaway List — every giveaway you've created with game info, entry count, status, key delivery progress, and contributor value

Key delivery tracking shows a progress bar for ended giveaways — how many keys were claimed, revealed, unclaimed, or reported problematic. You can see exactly where each giveaway stands.

Contributor value is calculated per-key with a diminishing returns system — giving away many copies of the same game gradually reduces the credited value per copy. Hover over any value for a detailed tooltip breakdown.

Filters: Search by game name and filter by status (active, ended, cancelled, deleted). Staff members can also view other users' history for moderation purposes.

Gifts Page Improvements

Your Gifts page now shows clearer information about replacement keys:

• Replacement keys are labeled with a "REPLACEMENT KEY" tag
• Your previous (broken) key is shown below the card for reference
• Notification links take you directly to the specific gift card — no need to scroll or search
• If both the original and replacement key were reported broken, the status clearly reflects that
