             TL;DR: We do not store your email address, IP address, or passwords. Your privacy is our priority.
        

Steam Authentication

We use Steam OpenID for authentication. When you sign in, we only receive your public Steam ID.

We do not have access to your Steam username or password.
We retrieve basic public profile information (Avatar, Persona Name) from the Steam Web API to display your profile on our site.

Data We Collect

To provide our services (Giveaways, Forums, etc.), we store only the minimal data necessary:

Steam ID (64-bit): Used to uniquely identify your account.
Display Name & Avatar URL: Cached locally for performance but updated from Steam public data.
Activity Logs: Actions you take on the site (e.g., entering a giveaway, posting a comment) are linked to your Steam ID.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We believe in data minimization. We do not collect or store:

Email Addresses: We never ask for or store your email.
IP Addresses: We do not log or store user IP addresses in our database.
Personal Identifiers: No real names, addresses, or phone numbers are ever requested.

Cookies

We use local session cookies solely for the purpose of maintaining your logged-in state. These are essential for the site's functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
