Giveaway of good games.

#1

I have an idea. There was a suggestion on the website to increase the points earned for certain good games during giveaways. Why not create a feature that temporarily increases the points earned for certain good games every week, every three days, or every month, so that people can participate in giveaways and earn more points to level up? To prevent excessive points accumulation, a limit could be set for the number of giveaways. For example, a giveaway for Outlast would earn 0 points, but during this promotion, it could earn 15 points. Additionally, a limit could be set for the number of giveaways per week, such as 2-3 giveaways. Every month, there could be a special game that earns even more points. Alternatively, a list of popular and good games that earn fewer points could be created, and a bonus could be offered for participating in their giveaways. The first giveaway would earn a higher number of points, while subsequent giveaways would earn the same price as the game. This would encourage people to participate in giveaways for good games. By doing so, other users would see that the website frequently offers exciting games, which would increase the website's popularity.

This would undermine legitimate giveaways valued at $15 or more. Because third-party key sellers offer certain games for just $1 to $2, users could exploit these cheap purchases to gain an unfair advantage over those contributing genuinely valuable games.

I agree. But what if you don't make all the games, but separate ones where you can't find cheap keys, but whose price is too low due to discounts on Steam? And based on the cost of these keys, create a list of games so that you can get a certain number of points for the level. There are just really cool games that have a price closer to zero, but the keys for which are not cheap.

Let's build on the idea and expand it.
A weight of 1.x can be applied to newly released titles that it will be almost impossible to play the system with it.
Let's say new Control resonance is out. First 1-2 months of the game it will be impossible to find it lower that usual. This way you have a cut line and it will be easier maybe to be implemented.

If there is a wishlist list for all the users of the site, the top 5-x games have a 1.x contribution to points.

Achievements can be created for users that constantly create giveaways of the new releases games and the ones on the wishlist of the community.
